2020-2021. Refreshed the game’s UX and UI, focusing on the Legends, Loadout, Store, and Post-Match menus.

2020. Refined UX/UI in the run-up to release. Designed the Official and Third-Party Marketplace from the ground up.

Elden Ring
Crafting Redesign

Updated 2024. I found Elden Ring’s crafting system frustrating and wanted to explore the potential solutions I thought about while playing. This case study includes a teardown, an interactive prototype, and an annotated wireflow showing my thoughts and proposals.

 
 

Control
Alt UI Direction

2024. Exploring an alternative UI direction inspired by 1900s newspapers, released FBI dossiers, and microfiche readers. I had a lot of fun establishing the first style, then pushing it as hard as possible into the unusual world of Control.

 
 

I’m a Senior UX/UI Designer based in Brighton, UK.

I’ve worked in the games industry for over 7 years, both freelance and in-studio, on games including Judas, Microsoft Flight Sim, Apex Legends and New World, as well as several other titles under NDA.

I studied at Norwich University of the Arts; for three years on BA Games Art & Design, and one more on MA Games.
